The Monadnock Food Co-op launched a month-long “Round It Up” donation drive to benefit its Membership For All program Nov. 1. This program is intended to make member-ownership in the Monadnock Food Co-op more affordable for qualifying participants and reduce financial barriers for those wishing to become member-owners.

“Our co-op is more than a grocery store,” said general manager Michael Faber. “It’s owned by our member-owners, over 3,000 people who use our business to meet their shared needs and aspirations such as access to healthy food, building a stronger local economy and providing good jobs. We want to ensure member-ownership is within reach for all community members.”

The “Round It Up” program empowers shoppers to donate their change to local community organizations and causes.
