One vehicle was towed after a two-car crash that happened Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Peterborough Road and Forest Road in Greenfield.

Police were summoned to the scene at 1:53 p.m. after two westbound vehicles collided, Police Chief Brian Giammarino said. A gray Honda CRV driven by Benjamin Hale of Greenfield was initiating a left turn into the driveway at 15 Peterborough Road when a gold Toyota Corolla driven by Elijah Tamok of Francestown attempted to pass Hale on the left, on a double solid stripe, he said.

The Corolla struck the driverโ€™s side front quarter panel of the CRV, causing damage to it, while the Corolla itself deployed airbags and sustained damage to its passenger side. Tamok was ticketed for an unlawful pass, and the Corolla had to be towed from the scene. The CRV was able to be driven into Haleโ€™s driveway, Giammarino said.
