Three vehicles were towed off Route 202 in Peterborough this morning after a driver became distracted by a spider in their car.
Peterborough Police were summoned to a three-vehicle crash outside New Hampshire Ball Bearings at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Police Chief Scott Guinard said, after two southbound vehicles collided.
A 2014 Toyota driven by Eleanor MacDougall, 69, of Laconia was in the process of turning right into NHBB when a spider dropped down on the driver in the vehicle behind her, a 2015 Subaru driven by Sean Driscoll, 56, of Jaffrey, Guinard said. This caused Driscoll to rear-end MacDougall’s car, which in turn crashed into a 2013 Nissan exiting the NHBB driveway, driven by Timothy Jarest, 60, of Temple. All vehicles were damaged and needed to be towed and no injuries were reported, Guinard said.
