A trial date has been set in the lawsuit between former Deputy Town Clerk Gayle Bohl and the Town of Peterborough.
Bohl sued the town in October 2020 for wrongful discharge and a violation of whistleblower protections after she resigned from her position at the end of September, alleging an unsafe and hostile work environment under her supervisor, Town Clerk Linda Guyette.
A trial is scheduled for Feb. 28, 2022, after which jury selection commences, according to court records on the case. This January, both parties were ordered to undergo mediation by October 2021. Court records do not indicate the mediation has happened yet.
Town Clerk Linda Guyette handily retained her position in Peterboroughโs May elections with 1,001 votes, compared to challenger Eddie Gomez II, who received 564 votes, and Brendan Bohl, Gayleโs husband, who received 202.
