Sarah Steinberg Heller retained her lead in Peterborough’s recount of Planning Board votes Thursday afternoon. This means that she and Stephanie Hurley are the two three-year term elects, joining one-year term-elect Joshua Blair after the town’s May 11 election.
Although Hurley easily won the most votes, the recount was requested after runner-up Steinberg Heller initially appeared to secure the second open three-year spot on the Board by just one vote. The recount revealed that she actually won by 11 votes.
The final ballot count is as follows:
Sarah Steinberg Heller: 515
Lisa Stone: 410
Blair Weiss: 504
Christopher DiLoreto: 317
Lindsay Dreyer: 355
Stephanie Hurley: 814
