The filing period for various local elected offices begins on Jan. 20 and continues to Jan. 29.
Greenfield has several positions for town officials open for election this year. Candidates must file at the Town Clerk’s office between 3 and 5:30 p.m. on any weekday but Tuesday. One three-year and one two-year Select Board seat is open, one three-year Town Clerk position is open, there are two seats apiece for one-year, two-year, and three-year Budget Advisory Committee terms, as well as one two-year and one three-year seat as a Cemetery Trustee, two three-year terms on the Planning Board, and one seat apiece for one, two, and three-year terms on the Trustees of Trust Funds. A three-year term on the School Board is also open, and residents must file their declaration of candidacy with Brenda Marschok at the SAU office in Peterborough during regular business hours.
In Dublin, residents can declare their candidacy at the Town Clerk’s office during regularly scheduled hours on Monday through Thursday, or from 3 to 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 29. One three-year term on the Select Board is open, as well as one three-year and one two-year position as a Library Trustee, two three-year terms on the Budget Committee, one three-year term as a Cemetery Trustee, two three-year terms with the Planning Board, and one three-year term with the Trustees of Trust Funds.
