A Hillsborough man was injured after his car left the road and fell down an embankment in Francestown on Sunday morning.
At 11:13 a.m., a 2014 Mazda driven by Richard Baldwin, 71, of Hillsborough was traveling westbound on Mountain Road in Francestown when the vehicle left the right side of the gravel road and fell down an embankment, Francestown Officer Frederick Douglas Jr. said. An ambulance transported Baldwin to the hospital with a non-life threatening injury, he said, and the vehicle sustained extensive damage to its undercarriage and was towed from the scene.
