Join Harris Center ecologists Brett Amy Thelen and Karen Seaver to survey for monarch eggs and caterpillars in a Harris Center-conserved milkweed patch in Peterborough. This morning of socially-distant citizen science on Tuesday, July 28, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in Peterborough, is offered in conjunction with the International Monarch Monitoring Blitz, an annual research effort aimed at understanding and protecting monarch butterflies. No experience necessary.
The exact location will be provided upon registration. Rain date isย July 29. Come prepared for sun, ticks, and other biting insects.ย Space is limited, and registration is required.
