Letter to the editor:
Once the basic needs for safety and nurturing are more or less met, everyone of us human beings on this planet want to be recognized, really seen, and thus loved for our special uniqueness.
Since I wish to be seen, rather than feeling “less than”, I start by really seeing and listening to others. And I don’t wait for Christmas to gift my fellow Earth travelers with kindness, compassion, acceptance and respect. In my acts of giving I also receive such gifts. This is the nature of love.
