Why?
Why are Republicans so dead set against impeachment hearings in the House of Representatives? If Trump is blameless and is upholding the Constitution, this entire process should be a huge win for them as they hold the power to vindicate Trump.
Democrats control the House and, thus, whether Articles of Impeachment are approved, leading to a trial in the Senate. Yet, the Republicans control the Senate and have the votes to declare Trump innocent. Why are they concerned at all? They should be laughing as they know they have the final say.
Their unhinged obstruction of the process only makes sense if they are terrified of what will be revealed. It makes one wonder…
