A Hancock man was hospitalized after he drove into a ditch at the base of Dublin Town Cemetery at 1:40 p.m. on Monday.

Frank Cordelle, 76, of Hancock, had been traveling eastbound on Main Street in a Toyota Matrix.

Dublin Fire Chief Tom Vanderbilt said witnesses described him crossing the center line at a low speed. The car traveledย along a ditch beforeย coming to a stop in some brush at the base of the cemetery.

โ€œHe didnโ€™t seem to know how he got there,โ€ said Police Chief Tim Suokko.ย

Cordelleย appeared uninjured and was able to speak to first responders. He was taken to the hospital for a medical check.ย
