One person was taken to Monadnock Community Hospital with minor injuries Saturday afternoon following a two-car crash on Route 202 at Scott Mitchell Road in Peterborough.
Police, fire and ambulance workers responded to the crash at 1:25 p.m. on Saturday, Brian Wall, deputy chief of the Peterborough Fire Department, said on scene Saturday.
Audrey Sieswerda, 16, of Peterborough was turning left onto Route 202 from Scott Mitchell Road in a 2005 Honda Pilot and failed to yield to oncoming traffic, as a result, the Honda hit a northbound 2015 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by Paul Cunningham, 68, of Antrim, Peterborough police Sgt. Michael Chapdelaine said in a narrative of the crash, released on Monday.
A passenger from the Honda was taken to Monadnock Community Hosptial in Peterborough, he wrote.
A total of six people were involved in the crash, Wall said Saturday, two people in one vehicle and four in the other. Wall said the patient taken to the hospital had only minor injuries.
โWeโve only transported one so far. The rest are probably going to be sign-offs,โ Wall said on scene. โNo serious injuries.โ
The impact from the Honda caused passenger-side damage to the Chevrolet. The Honda had front-end damage. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
