Having been born and raised in Temple, I have always taken an interest in and participated in town affairs. Having retired about eight to 10 years ago, I have been taking a more active interest in participating in the affairs of governing.

I would consider myself to be principled, independent, reasoned, conscientious, compassionate, and dedicated to the town of Temple and its inhabitants.

In my desire to be re-elected to the board of selectmen for another term, I have no hidden agenda — simply to serve.

I believe in being fiscally conservative while also assuring that we maintain fiscal integrity to support essential services to the town’s well being. That includes fire and rescue, police, and ambulance, among others.

I am fully supportive of agriculture and small businesses in town.

While we are currently enjoying a fairly low town rate, I doubt that this will continue for too long. I would like to see in the coming year, a restoration of some Capital Reserve accounts using excess general fund balance as a vehicle to achieve this goal.
