Greenville has six open elected official positions this year.
One position is opening up on the Select Board. Members of the board serve a three-year term.
Two positions are open for library trustee, one for fire ward, and one for cemetery trustee, each of which is for a three-year term.
The open town treasurer position is for a one-year term.
The first day to file declarations of candidacy or nomination petitions with the town clerk is Jan. 25. The deadline for filing is Feb. 3 at 5 p.m. Check the town website for town clerk business hours.
The town election will be held on March 14.
