Money raised for Victory Farm

To the editor:

On Nov. 12, the Sons of the American Legion Squadron #11 of Jaffrey held a fund raising bowl-a-thon for the Victory Farm in Fitzwilliam. . Dylan Gallagher was a big part of the event, which was held Yankee Lanes in Keene. The staff there were more than willing to help in making this a success. Thanks to Keith Coll and other members of his staff, this event raised $735. This money will help restock the low food supply as the Victory Farm is a nonprofit facility for veterans who are recovering from addictions and PTSD. We would like to thank all who donated to the raffle.

The Squadron is also raising monies for the Childrenโ€™s Miracle Network, which goes to the Boston Childrenโ€™s Hospital, earmarked for NH patients. We have three long-haired gentlemen who will have their hair cut (two shaved, one buzz-cut) Dec. 30 at 6 p.m. at the American Legion on Webster Street in Jaffrey.

Come out and support these gentlemen in their effort raising money for a good cause.
