The Franklin Pierce University volleyball team’s win streak reached three games as the Crimson and Grey swept through Northeast-10 Conference opponent Saint Michael’s College 3-0 (25-13, 25-19, 25-16) Tuesday evening in the Fieldhouse. The victory moves the Ravens to 9-13, 5-5 NE-10 and the loss drops the Purple Knights to 3-12, 1-9 NE-10.
FPU had their best hitting contest of the season as they combined to hit .363 versus their conference rivals. Katie Leidhold, Brittney Carias, Madison Klusendorf, Hannah St. Jean, Abigail Sonuga, Hannah Runge, and Jocelyn Moody all recorded hitting percentages over .300.
Leidhold paced the Ravens offense with a game-high 15 kills to go along with seven digs, two blocks and a service ace. Sonuga hit .526 adding 10 kills, two blocks and a dig. Fellow middle hitter Hannah St. Jean tallied 10 kills and a match-best five total blocks.
The Ravens wrap up their road schedule at Assumption on Saturday at noon.
