A local branch of the Knights of Columbus will offer free rides to polling locations in Jaffrey and Rindge for the upcoming election.
Council 8544, which operates out of St. Patrick Church in Jaffrey, will pick up and drop those in need of a ride on Election Day, according to Knights of Columbus member John Stone.
“We want to help people to get out and vote,” said Stone, who stressed that the rides will be non-partisan. “We won’t tell you who to vote for, we just want to help people perform their civic duty.”
