To the editor:
For countless months, I have been reminded daily of Donald Trump. I truly resent the way he has poisoned our country with fear and bigotry. He isn’t interested in government. He’s never even held an elective office. What he wants is personal power not public service. He chases this goal relentlessly — by lying and bullying, failing to pay taxes, denigrating blacks, Latinos, women, immigrants, Muslims. The policies he intends to carry out with the advisors he has chosen are equally pernicious. He is a man without any ideals or integrity. His record as a sexual predator makes him unqualified for any job in hundreds of companies including Walmart.
Hillary Clinton is steady, smart and pragmatic. She has a wealth of experience in public service, and international respect. She has articulated a vision of a more fair and just society and has given the specifics on how to achieve it. Her accomplishments as first lady, U.S. senator, and secretary of state are prodigious. What she has done backs up what she says.
We’ve seen some strange voting trends worldwide such as Britain voting for Brexit and Columbia voting No for peace from a 52-year war. (More than 60 percent of people didn’t vote.) This is not the time to become complacent or depressed. There is too much at stake. Make sure you vote for Hillary Clinton on Nov. 8.
