Touchstone Farm is wrapping up its season with the year’s final horse show, during which the Brandon Garabrant Year-end Award will be presented.

Garabrant worked at the Temple farm before enlisting in the U.S. Marines. He was killed in Afghanistan in 2014, and his family will be given a memorial flag at the Saturday event.“It’s a flag that the farm raised money for and are presenting,” Horse Show Manager Andi Oxier said.

The Garabrant Award will go to the rider who accumulated the most points over the summer’s four shows.

In addition to the horse show and presentations, there will be a costume class, in which young riders can dress up themselves and their ponies to show off around the farm.

The show will take place at Touchstone Farm off Putnam Road in Temple on Saturday. Warm-ups begin at 7:30 a.m. and the show is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.

For riders, registration must be done by Friday.
