After a big win at Sunapee, the Mascenic girls’ volleyball team stumbled against Inter-Lakes on Thursday. The Lakers won in straight sets, choosing to touch the ball over Mascenic’s strong middle hitters rather than attack the net. Nonetheless, Mascenic had a season-high 41 kills. Meagan Brand had 11 kills and six blocks, and Melonie Ojala had a career high 11 kills. Mascenic (9-2) hosts Campbell (7-5) Wednesday at 5 p.m.
