The Jaffrey Parks and Recreation Department is proud to offer a new program called Adventures in Movement (AIM) for a Day. AIM for a Day is a one-day program offered on scheduled “no school” days. AIM for a Day provides fun, games, and arts and crafts. It is a one-day sample of our popular summer program. The first AIM for the Day was on Election Day on Tuesday, Sept. 13. Twelve children enrolled, and played various games and sports all day, including dodgeball, street hockey, “What Time is it, Mr. Wolf,” and “See You Later, Alligator!”

They also had fun making festive fall tissue paper art projects, and constructing amazing marshmallow structures (see photos).

AIM for a Day is planned for Columbus Day (Monday, Oct.10), and Election Day (Tuesday, Nov. 8,). You can find more information on Facebook: www.facebook.com/Jaffrey-Parks-and-Recreation and on the website: www.jaffrey.recdesk.com.
