The Rindge Woman’s Club has extended the application deadline for three scholarships for adult women who are residents of Rindge.
The scholarships are the Charles and Daphne Sampson Scholarship, for $1,000 for a woman working toward a master’s degree or post-graduate certification at an accredited institution, and two additional scholarships of up to $1,000 each for women who are returning to school to upgrade their skills or education for employment or career advancement. Those may be used for a certificate program, or for associate or bachelor’s degree programs at an accredited institution.
Applications are now being accepted until Dec. 31. Scholarships will be disbursed at the successful completion of the semester or course for which the award is given. Applications can be obtained on the Rindge Woman’s Club website at www.rindgewomansclub.org.
