On Sept. 19, at 7 p.m., the J.A. Tarbell Library will present Ramblin’ Richard, who will bring Stories and Songs from the 1930s.
The event is part of the library’s participation in the countywide Fireseed Alliance’s “Big Read” NEA grant. John Steinbeck’s “The Grapes of Wrath” is being read and discussed around the county. Books are now available. Movies from or about the 1930s will be shown at 7 p.m. on Thursdays in October. The book discussion is will be Oct. 21 at 1 p.m. Those with family stories, Lyndeborough tales or artifacts from the 1930s to share are invited to contact the library 654-6790 or email jatlprograms@gmail.com .
