Freshmen Julia Cormier and Rebecca Zylak took third and fourth place, respectively, on Saturday morning, to lead the way for the Franklin Pierce University women’s cross-country team at the Smith College Cross Country Invitational. Ultimately, the duo of New Hampshire natives led the Ravens to a third place finish at the 10-team meet.

Freshman Tyler Hayes posted his first collegiate top-10 finish on Saturday , as he led five members of the men’s cross-country team to finish in the top 25 of an 87-runner field. It all added up to a fourth-place finish (out of eight teams) for the Ravens at the Smith College Cross Country Invitational.

The Ravens return to action on Saturday, Sept. 17, when they host the Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup at the Hopkinton State Fairgrounds in Hopkinton.
