The Mascenic girls’ volleyball team came away with a pair of wins last week.
First up, an easy win over Franklin on Wednesday, beating the Golden Tornadoes 3-0.
Sophomore middle hitter Shannon Agonis had 10 kills in the game, while senior right side hitter Steph Somero string together 12 straight service points, including a pair of aces.
Mascenic then faced Belmont, and defeated the Marauders in a 3-1 contest that was closer than the score appeared.
Agonis had another terrific game, with 10 kills and five blocks on the day.
The Vikings (2-1) were set to face Campbell Monday night; they host Epping (2-0) Friday at 5 p.m.
