New Hampshire will celebrate its first-ever statewide day of giving tomorrow.
NH Gives Day will harness the collective power of individuals, communities and businesses to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate the impact of nonprofits in the Granite State.
Coordinated by the NH Center for Nonprofits, NH Gives Day is designed to bring people across the state together as one community, raising as much money and awareness as possible for New Hampshire’s nonprofits within a 24-hour, flash mob of giving.
NHGives.org provides an easy-to-use platform where people can find a cause and donate securely. To sweeten the deal, the Center, with the support of its sponsors, will be awarding 17 cash prizes throughout the day. Participating nonprofits also receive training and marketing support. Among the Monadnock region nonprofits participating in NH Gives Day are the Dublin Community Center, the Jaffrey Civic Center, the Jaffrey Woman’s Club, TEAM Jaffrey, Monadnock United Way, Southwestern Community Services, Inc, Home Healthcare, Hospice & Community Services (HCS).
