Animaterra women’s chorus will present its spring concert, “Creating Joy,” for one performance only, Saturday, May 21, at the Unitarian Universalist Church.
The 7:30 p.m. performance will feature music from around the world.
Animaterra, led by interim artistic director Heather Bower, is a nonprofit organization formed by women to communicate through music of the world’s traditions. It welcomes all women in a community of song, reaching out to all people locally, regionally, and globally.
A suggested donation is $10 for adults, and $8 for seniors and children.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Park Theatre and Planned Parenthood. Non-perishable food items for local community kitchens also will be collected.
