The Nashua Regional Planning Commission will be taking a look at transportation needs on Route 101 and 101A, and are looking for community input.
The Nashua Regional Planning Commission is hosting three workshops across the region during June to review and discuss the draft Metropolitan Transportation Plan Project List.
The workshops will be “big picture” conversations and will focus on regional corridors: The Turnpike and access across the Merrimack River, the 101 and 101A corridors, and rural transportation needs.
The objective is to ensure the planned projects and goals are aligned. The end product will be an updated list of projects for adoption and incorporation into the transportation plan at the December NRPC Commission meeting.
Wilton will be hosting the first session on June 9 between 6 and 8 p.m. at the Wilton Town Hall. Residents from Lyndeborough, Mason, Mont Vernon and Wilton are invited to attend and give their input.
The other workshops will be held on June 16 at 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Milford Town Hall for the towns of Amherst, Brookline, Hollis and Milford and June 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hudson Town Hall for residents of Hudson, Litchfield, Merrimack, Nashua and Pelham.
