Thanks for help with bridge

To the editor:

Thank you for publishing photos of my Eagle Scout project, the rebuilding of the bridge over the swamp by the Hancock Elementary School. Without the help of fellow Scouts, my family and community members, it would have taken years.

I would like to thank Troop 8 and members of Troop 2 in Antrim and Troop 308 of Rindge. And for those who supplied food: Pizza Barn, Dunkinโ€™ Donuts, Bagel Mill, Fiddleheads Cafe, Hancock Market, The Hancock Inn, Rite Aid and Crotched Mountain Rehab Center. Finally thank you Troop 8 mothers for chili and pizza.

Thank you Hancock Conservation Commission for the first donation to my project and Belletetes for your donation of a $50 gift card. Thank you Home Depot of Keene, for your generous donation of all the hardware for the main bridge.

And one extraordinary thanks to BB & S Treated Lumber of New England, which donated all the composite decking and all the structural lumber (a little over $3,000 worth of materials.) Also, thank you Mike Asel for all your patience, strength and know-how. Thank you Susie of The Harris Center for suggesting the project.. And finally, thank you Gandalf, and Kyle and Dalton who are two great Scouts (as well as wonderful friends).
