Wilton-Lyndeborough took four of the singles and all of the doubles matches at Kearsarge last week to pull off a 7-2 win.

“It was a great match,” said head coach Betsie Sullivan, “and at times the individual matches were very close, so for a while there it could have gone either way. Both teams put out a great effort and it was an exciting match to watch!”

Tatum Vander-Heyden had to move up to No. 1 because Maddy Bacon was absent. Vander-Heyden pulled out the win over Sara Lang, 8 -6.

Susie Lemire moved up to No. 2, where she had a great win over Elise Maquette, 9-7 Jackie Bird likewise had to move up and pulled off a win against Andrea Lutts at 8-4.

Jordan Kross played a beautiful match against Morgan Flinkson winning 8-3.

Kayla Philips, new to the team this year, lost against Miranda Bonin, but she played well, losing 5-8. Dani Bird came close to a win against Elle Mellot, losing 6-8.

Vander-Heyden and and Lemire teamed up won in 1st doubles, 8-3. Kross and Jackie Bird won 9-7 at 2nd doubles.

WLC (2-2) hosts Conant (3-0) on Monday at 4 p.m.
