The annual Hope for Nica 5K is Saturday at 9 a.m. in New Ipswich.
The race starts at Be Fit, at the NeWest Mall, 800 Turnpike Road and finishes at the same location.
Pre-registration is $25 if entered by Thursday. One can register at hopefornica.org/5K. Race day registration is $30.
Awards will be handed out at the end of the race for overall winners and age groups.
Funds raised from the race go to Hope for Nica, a national nonprofit which helps impoverished children in Nicaragua receive an education at Jardin Infantil y El Padul in Managua.
