Fall Mountain could only muster four hits off Conant starter Maddy Springfield on Wednesday as the Orioles beat the Wildcats soundly, 19-1.
Conant batted around in the first, scoring eight runs early to put the game out of reach. They’d score another six in the fourth inning to finish the job.
Springfield struck out four in five innings of work, hit a double and scored two runs.
Briana Dionne scored four times on two hits, and Devon Blood, Sierra Landry, Madison Picard and Grace Chadbourne each crossed the plate three times.
Conant(2-1) was set to take on ConVal (0-4) after press time Monday. The Orioles travel to Pelham (2-3) on Friday at 4 p.m.
