TEAM Jaffrey’s free Summer Concerts on the Common series has recently been awarded a General Project Grant for Community Engagement from the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts.
The concerts are a staple of the town’s summer cultural scene and present a wide variety of music each season. Taking place in tandem with TEAM Jaffrey’s summer farmers market, the concerts are held on Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
The concert series features a variety of music across cultures and generations. Last year’s schedule included Studio Two, a Beatles tribute band, The Installers, Raymond Street Klezmer Band, and the Tropical Sensations Steel Drum Band.
TEAM Jaffrey is supported in part by a grant from the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts. Support for the Free Summer Concerts on the Common is also provided by Tieger Realty, Tower Crocker & Smith P.A., Subway, and McDonald’s.
