Ted Ernst, Alex Chambers, Andres Tourgee and Barrett Norton won their singles matches in CV’s 7-2 win vs. Manchester West. It was CV’s first match and first win of the 2016 season.
Ernst, ConVal’s No. 2, beat West’s Jisoo Moon 8-0. Tourgee beat Jiwon Moon 8-3 at the No. 3 position. Tourgee beat Pedro Torado 8-5 at No. 4 and Norton beat Matt Pawlak 8-2 at No. 5.
ConVal No. 1 Oliver Ellerkamp lost 8-2 to Manchester’s Alec Robitaille.
In doubles, Ellerkamp and Ernst lost 8-3 to Robitaille and Jiwon Moon, and Chambers and Norton beat Pawlak and Jisoo Moon 8-2.
ConVal (1-0) was set to host Windham (0-2) on Wednesday. They’ll host Souhegan (0-0) on Friday at 4 p.m.
