The TEAM Jaffrey Advisory Board held its inaugural meeting in March, and is poised to provide TEAM Jaffrey with support as it continues working to enhance, revitalize and improve the downtown area.
Advisory board members include Joanne Buck, a Realtor with Candice Starrett Real Estate, Jeff Crocker of Tower, Crocker & Smith, Carolyn Edwards of Sunflowers Restaurant, Dick Hill of Hill Family Insurance, Bill Schofield of the town of Jaffrey’s EDC, and longtime residents Dick Olson, Peter Davis and Jim DuMont. Members of the advisory board were selected for their depth of knowledge and perspective about the organization’s history, role in the community, and their interest in helping to plan for TEAM’s future. Most members have served on the board of directors and several are among the organization’s founders.
“The organizational history and depth of experience these individuals have is critical to TEAM Jaffrey as we continue to identify new initiatives and projects to advance our revitalization efforts downtown,” said Melanie McDonald, TEAM Jaffrey’s executive director.
The advisory board meets quarterly, and its advice may be sought on key decisions facing the organization. Board members are advocates for the organization and help identify new opportunities, new board members/volunteers, and prospective community partners.
