The Contoocook Valley Transportation Company Board of Directors and staff is inviting the public to help them celebrate their volunteers Friday, in recognition of National Volunteer Week.
Between 9 and 11 a.m., the public may stop by CVTC headquarters at 375 Jaffrey Road, Peterborough.

CVTC’s Volunteer Drivers provide “no-fee” transportation for people who do not have access to transportation because of age, ability, economic situation or other limiting circumstances. Trip purposes include non-emergency medical and social service appointments, as well as trips to the grocery store and the pharmacy.
