Adult co-ed softball, sponsored by the Peterborough Recreation Department and coordinated by Kathy Letourneau, continues for the summer of 2016. Teams consist of both men and women, with a required number of women on the field at any given time. The game is slow pitch. Unless there are more than eight teams participating, the league will consist of one division with the playoffs being broken down into two separate divisional playoffs.
One may register a team or as an individual for a fun way to play softball and socialize a couple summer nights per week. Games occur about two times/week barring bad weather and their make-up dates. For more information, please call 924-8080.
A $100 registration deposit will be required prior to or on the day of the manager’s meeting. Teams will not be put on the schedule without the deposit being made.
Who: Adults, 18 years of age or older
When: Manager’s Meeting, April 25, 7pm at the PRD Meeting Room
Season: Mid-May to Mid-August
Time: Games are typically scheduled at 6:15- 8 p.m. or 8:15-10 p.m., Monday through Thursday evenings
Where: Adams Playground, softball fields
Cost: $600/team – $100 registration deposit. $500 balance due by mid-May. Checks made payable to the Town of Peterborough.
