Presidential election in turmoil

To the editor:

In this election we need a leader who is intelligent and can carry the load. Many people like “The Donald” because he will lead us down the right road. A lot of people think Trump is our savior and he will keep us from harm, But many of us think, that with Donald, we probably just bought the farm.

Now we also have a so-called evangelical who Trump calls “lying Ted.” The National Enquirer says he’s unfaithful, and with five women, he lost his head. Although he claims to be a “down home boy“and was born and raised in “the sticks.” How come he seems to be so good at contriving “dirty tricks”?

Now we still have Gov. Kasich, who really believes he still has a chance to win, But with a hundred delegates in hand, his real chances are extremely slim. But John says,”Hold on everybody, oh me oh my-o. The contest is in the bag, I just won Ohio!”

On the other side of the political mountain,we have good old Hil, who may be called to testify about illegal emails, very soon, on Capitol Hill. Why people like her so much, I don’t know what they’re thinkin’, Oh that’s right, she can do no wrong, after all she is a Clinton!

Now we get to Bernie, a left-wing socialist who with young people has surely hit the right note, Can they stop the Hillary PAC machine, and can Bernie get out the vote? He’s very likeable, an old curmudgeon, not insulting and often funny, I guess my biggest question is, to fund his liberal ideas, where is he coming up with the money?

So here we are in the election year of 2016. It seems like the whole political race is more of a nightmare than it ever could be a dream. So where have all the great leaders gone, like Kennedy, Reagan and Truman, I guess I have no other choice but to vote for Alfred E. Neuman!

What me worry? You better believe it.
