When do creativity and passion come together in near-perfect timing to create something wonderful? Over and over again in the Monadnock region.
Friday night’s Monadnock Academy of Movement Arts dance concert is just one example, and I’m happy I could attend. Students and parents presented a fantastic show. They performed with grace and rhythm, athleticism and confidence. Some serious, some playful, each number showcased the talents of students who practiced for endless hours to nail intricate moves.
I hope you got to one of the shows, too. It was a great performance. MAMA made it beautiful and made it look easy.
I work with a talented, passionate, creative group who bring you the Ledger-Transcript each week. While I have two left feet and can’t dance, I know first-hand some of the challenges of corralling creativity and putting yourself in front of an audience.
Today our team introduces a new look to our newspaper and website. It’s the result of months of work and planning. We hope you like it.
Many of you have asked us for more good news. We often have good news and now we are putting more of it in one place – on Page Two on Tuesdays. Here you’ll find good news stories and photos, a look back at Monadnock region history, comments from readers on stories on ledgertranscript.com from the previous week and other selections from a lighter-fare menu. Thursday you’ll find a new Page 7. Please check it out.
Help us spread the word. We want to catch you telling a friend what you read on Two on Tuesday. And please, call or email us with your suggestions for the page, and tell us what you like about our new look and website.
