A Bennington man was indicted this month on a charge of sexually assaulting a fourteen year old.

Triston Spaulding, 20, was arrested after allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old who was not his legal spouse in January.

The charge is a felony and could result in three and a half years to seven years in jail or $4,000 in fines.ย 

In other indictments this month, an Antrim man has been indicted on a drug charge involving fentanyl.

Christopher Eaves, 30, of Antrim, was charged in November with possession of the controlled drug fentanyl. Eaves, at the time, has been previously convicted on a drug charge, which elevated the charge to a special felony. Eaves could face up to seven and a half to 15 years in jail or $50,000 in fines.ย 

Also indicted wasย Megan Lafleur of Antrim on a single count of criminal mischeif. Lafleur was charged in June with allegedly purposely caused damage to a vehicle, causing damage in excess of $1,500. The charge could result in three and a half to seven years in prison or $4,000 in fines.
