Letter: Bonnie Tucker for Peterborough Select Board

Published: 04-17-2025 12:01 PM

I am writing to enthusiastically support Bonnie Tucker for Peterborough town selectman in the May 13 election. Bonnie has shown she cares about our community and knows how to bring people together to solve problems.

Since November 2022, Bonnie has led the Peterborough Affordable Housing Committee. This important work helps ensure people of all income levels can live in our town.

Bonnie worked for 21 years as a manager at a biotechnology company. There, she learned how to handle budgets, plan for the future, and run organizations well. These skills will help her make smart decisions about town money and projects.

She studied biology in college and worked as an environmental consultant. This background helps her understand how to protect our local natural resources.

Bonnie also studied public health and now works as a researcher at the NH Community Health Institute. This work has taught her about what makes communities healthy - things like affordable housing, good jobs, clean water, and safe roads.

If elected, Bonnie plans to protect our natural environment, support our local arts and culture, help younger people and families stay in town, improve roads, sidewalks and bike paths, work on energy and climate solutions and create more housing options that people can afford

On May 13, please vote for Bonnie Tucker. She has the experience, knowledge and community spirit to help Peterborough thrive while keeping what makes our town special.
