Members of Rindge Girl Scout Troop 59095 spent Sunday, Oct. 5, exploring nature on local hikes. The girls, ranging in age from 5 to 17, trekked either Mount Kidder in New Ipswich or Converse Meadow in Rindge as part of their Trail Adventure Badge activities.

In preparation, the scouts learned first aid, what gear to pack, the importance of โ€œleave no traceโ€ principles and how to respect nature. Each participant earned the Trail Adventure Badge for their level.
