The Monadnock Area Transitional Shelter has received a community grant from Eversource to support individuals and families experiencing homelessness in the Monadnock region.
The funding will help MATS participants stabilize their lives by covering costs for essential documents, including Social Security cards and birth certificates, and providing supplies for organizing personal records. The grant also includes grocery and gas cards for new shelter residents and funds for post office box rentals.
MATS has offered shelter and services for more than 30 years.
