Temple has 14 open elected official positions across nine separate offices this year.
Incumbent Select Board member George Willard’s term is up this year. Members of the Select Board serve a three-year term.
Town Clerk Joyce Kullgren’s two-year term is up and the seat is open.
The town treasurer position is up for election. Daryl Winebrenner currently holds the seat, which has a two-year term.
Two library trustees, a trustee of trust funds, a cemetery trustee, one fire engineer and two Planning Board positions are all open. There will also be four seats open on the Budget Advisory Committee, two for two-year terms and two for three-year terms.
The first day to file declarations of candidacy or nomination petitions with the town clerk is Jan. 25. The last day for filing is Feb. 3. Check the town website for town clerk business hours
The town election will be held on March 14.
