Women’s lacrosseRavens fall to St. A’s on the road

The Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team remained neck-and­neck with Saint Anselm until late in the second half, when the Hawks used a four­goal run to take the win on Saturday afternoon in a Northeast­10 conference match­up, 14­11, at Grappone Stadium.

With the loss, the Ravens fall to a 4­2 record overall, and 1­2 in conference.

Junior keeper Denise Hunt is now 4­2 after coming up with nine saves on 23 shots.

Leading the Ravens was Nicole Dale with four goals, followed by Caitlin Sweeney with three goals.

The Ravens return home to host Saint Michael’s on Wednesday, at 3:30 p.m.
