Dublin Community Center, 1123 Main St. in Dublin, is hosting apple cider pressing and cider doughnuts Saturday, Oct. 22, from 10 a.m. to noon.
People can press their own apples, press the DubHub’s or just drink some fresh-pressed cider along and eat apple cider doughnuts. People who have their own apples can make a reservation for a 15-minute time slot to use the cider press and bring jars or containers for their cider. Limit two gallons per family.
The DubHub will also have apples available and allow guests to take turns to press the apples. It will also supply cups for the cider, or people may bring their own drink containers. Jugs will also be available for people to take home with a donation.
The event is free. For information, or to sign up for a time slot, send email to info@dublincommunitycenter.org.
