A Manchester man pulled an Amherst teen from a fiery crash on Route 101 in Peterborough Thursday night.

Passing motorist Matthew Busch, 28, of Manchester came upon a  flaming 2017 Infiniti that was flipped on its passenger side near Birch Road on Route 101 around 11:35 p.m. Thursday night, according to Police Chief Scott Guinard. Busch managed to pull the single occupant, a 16-year-old girl from Amherst, from the wreckage. The driver had been traveling east when she veered off the road after swerving to avoid a deer, Guinard said.

Following the crash, she was checked at Monadnock Community Hospital.
