The Hancock Town Library and the Altemont Masonic Lodge in Peterborough have joined together to present a spring reading challenge to children and teens. Bikes for Books is a reading incentive program which rewards readers with a chance to win a brand new bicycle.
For every hour you spend reading you can earn one raffle ticket to enter the Bikes for Books contest. The more you read, the more tickets you will earn, increasing your chance of winning. Simply read and fill out your ticket and place it into the bucket for the bike you want to win. There are two 20 inch bicycles – one for boys and one for girls.
Two lucky winners will read their way to a new bike this spring. The program is ongoing through April 29.
