Ayotte should comply with Constitution

To the editor:

An open letter to Sen. Ayotte: Since you represent all the residents of the state of New Hampshire, could you comply with the results of the people’s voice during the 2012 election and comply with the Constitution of the United States.

The President was elected by the people. The people have spoken and the President has complied with his responsibilities to nominate a candidate for any vacancy in the Supreme Court of the United States. We the people would like you to comply with your Constitutional duty to “advise and consent” on the President’s nominee. Please ensure that hearings occur and a vote is taken either yes or no on the President’s candidate.

Ignoring the will of the people is inexcusable. Best regards

James F. Poplin
