Antrim Eclectic Book Club will discuss “Special Topics in Calamity Physics,” by Marisha Pessl, Thursday, July 20, from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. at James A. Tuttle Library, 45 Main St. in Antrim.
“Special Topics in Calamity Physics” is a murder mystery centered on an elite prep school. Among the questions members may discuss are how reliable and likable a narrator Blue is, how she evolves, the effect her father Gareth has on her development, who Hannah Schneider, the “Bluebloods” and Zach Soderberg were, what members thought of the core curriculum format of this book and what they thought of the book’s ending.
Antrim Eclectic Book Club meets on the third Thursday each month between 2:15 and 3:15 p.m. at the James A Tuttle library. Free copies of the books will be available for loan at the library.
